imissfiles is built so your documents never become our product. Conversion happens in your browser with local libraries (PDF.js, pdf-lib, Tesseract, canvas). The file you drop is not posted to imissfiles servers.

Closing the tab discards the in-memory copy. We do not create accounts, and we do not store files between visits.

The site is funded by display advertising around the tools. Ads are not given your document. Standard ad networks may use cookies for the ad slot itself — that is separate from file processing.

OCR language models are loaded by the browser to run on-device. That is engine code, not your file.
