How to reduce a PDF file size for email

Most bounced attachments are not “too many pages.” They are scans and photos packed at print resolution. You can shrink the file in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.

    Know the limit before you attach

    Gmail allows 25 MB per message. Outlook.com is 20 MB. A lot of office servers still reject around 10 MB. If you do not know the other side, aim under 10 MB.

    Compress the PDF on this device
