Use camera: every image tool now takes photos straight from your camera, one per page, without the stream leaving the tab. New Scan to PDF page built around it, with OCR a PDF offered as the next step.

Image to PDF now fits images to page resolution by default. Building a PDF from 40 full-size phone photos went from 190 MB to 22–69 MB depending on the setting, and the tool now estimates the output size before you start.

OCR a PDF can now produce a searchable PDF: the scan exactly as it was, with the recognised words laid invisibly on top so search, select and copy work. Plain-text output is still there.
Rewrote the Extract images page around what people actually search for, and added the words paginate and copy-restriction where Search Console showed them missing.
Tool pages now show their format icon at display size in the header.

Reworked the tool icons so colour means file format: PDF is red, Word is blue, Excel and CSV are green, images are cyan. Anything that converts one format to another now shows both, source behind and destination in front.
Added JPG to CSV, PNG to CSV, JPG to JSON and PNG to JSON. Search Console showed people arriving with those exact phrases while only the generic image tools existed.
www.imissfiles.com now redirects to the address without the www, so there is one canonical copy of every page.
Pages that do not exist are marked not-indexable, so a mistyped URL cannot end up in search results.
