You do not need to hand this file to a converter. A tenancy agreement is a compact summary of your private life: full legal names, the address you are about to live at, employer details, sometimes bank information and a guarantor's particulars. It is also a document that reliably needs work before it can go anywhere.
Why it always needs work
Leases arrive in pieces. The agreement itself, an inventory, a deposit scheme certificate, a gas safety record, an EPC, a right-to-rent check — six PDFs from four different people, and the agent wants one file. Or it arrives whole and you need to sign page fourteen and send it back the same day.
Every one of those jobs is mechanical. None of them requires anyone else's server.
The sequence
- Sign it. Sign PDF. Draw the signature with a finger or trackpad, place it on the right page, download. The signature image is embedded into the document and stored nowhere, including here.
- Put the pack in order. Organize PDF to reorder or drop pages, Rotate PDF if a scanned certificate came out sideways.
- Combine it. Merge PDF for one file in the order the agent asked for.
- Fit the limit. Compress PDF shows the resulting size before you save, which matters when a letting portal caps uploads.

A note on signatures
This applies a visible signature to the page. For most tenancy agreements that is what is being asked for, and electronic signatures are recognised under laws such as eIDAS in the EU and the ESIGN Act in the US. It is not a certificate-based digital signature and produces no audit trail, so if your agent specifically requires one of those, use a service built for it. The Sign PDF page covers the distinction.

Common questions
Is it safe to sign a lease online?
It depends where the signing happens. On a server-based service, the agreement and an image of your signature both reach a third party. Here both stay in the browser tab and nothing is transmitted.
Is a signature added this way legally binding?
Electronic signatures are recognised for ordinary agreements under eIDAS in the EU and the ESIGN Act in the US, and a drawn signature applied with clear intent is a common form of one. Requirements vary by jurisdiction, and some counterparties require a certificate-based signature instead — check what your agreement asks for.
How do I combine a lease pack into one file?
